I think "standard time" is the pain. Forget that and just leave it at "daylight savings" time year round. I happen to like more light at the end of the day than at the beginning.

I feel that we don't need daylight savings time.Arizona never bought into it and they do just fine.If you want more daylight buy a rooster for an alarm clock. Now for a serious note, the true reason for daylight saving time is not so much for us as individuals,it's for Industry.Industry is the foundation in which this Nation was built. It's the bloodline of who we are. It's also what made us the most powerful Nation on earth.Industry has to be accommodated for a world that is changing as we speak.Without it we wouldn't have these computers or the beds we sleep in.As much as it's a real pain in the a**,industry is demanding an hour.If you can see this through my eyes you get a different perspective. The sad part is that by pushing it on the World in the way we are doing is going to be our downfall.

Yes, but people don't want to let go, even things that make no difference.
Its better to leave the clocks the way they are than give up an hour of light in the winter.

Wouldn't that be nice! I woke up at what I thought was 5:15 this morning, only to remember that I didn't reset my clocks last night!

Is it that time of year already? I forgot entirely. Thanks. And it ought to be left alone. I agree.
