Just letting you know by asking this question you could offend a large majority of people! But I think that I will answer it anyway. My immediate answer is no, because as the saying goes, ''No kingdom should ever be built on the backs of slaves''. It is wrong to make an individual a slave, just so that another can gain status or privilege. As person who has just celebrated Ghanaian independence I think that this an issue that I will take quite personally.
I think that slavery should be eradicated, but I think that people do not realise that it still exist today on many levels. Through the child slave trade, prostitution and even through trade e.g how products are sold and traded between the west and 3rd world countries, why isn't there consist fair trade. Are they not forms of slavery? Think about it

Avondrow and Timothy have it well said. As long as the majority of people must work day in day out to pay bills and have a bit to eat, slavery reigns supreme.
Renamed, as was said, with the difference that workers are not bound to the upper levels, but can change jobs or quit. Nothing to bind them legally.

We're all slaves already, it's just been rebranded. I don't agree with slaves in the old sense of the word. I don't beleive servitude is a thing to force upon anyone.

Royal mail done it.
They think by getting rid of staff and not replacing them is the best way to make a successful business. Huge burden on remaining staff gets worse and worse.

Cracking idea.
It would give those wimpy protesters something worthwhile to protest about.
They seem to be at a loose end this now that they sort of failed with fox hunting and the anti abortion stuff..

Maybe if the people are too lazy to work for a living and want to sit on welfare. That may teach them how to work if they want to eat...

Yes, definitely. Every home should have two ,one white and one black. The white one could do all the house work and the kids could use the black one to chalk on.
