On a lake in the Adirondacks. There are so many nice spots. If I had tons of money, I wouldn't buy mansions or big boats. I'd stay where I am and just build a second home up in the mountains, a vacation home. Maybe I could even find a beautiful Native American woman with long, straight black hair to serenade me on her guitar.

I'm building one right now up in Montana on 10 acres of land covered by trees and a stream.
but its not a cabin.
its a log cabin home.
a rec. room with a bathroom(in the basement)
kitchen, dinning room , laundry room, bathroom and the great room with a wrap around porch on the (1st floor.)
4 bed rooms with 4bath rooms with a balcony on each bed room on the (2nd floor.)
my office and a bathroom (loft 3rd)
with a 4 car garage

Up in a mountain with lots of trees. 5 acres of beautiful woods with one acre cleared out for me. A wonderful log home with vaulted ceilings and a deck off the master bedroom as well as a lower level deck off the living room. This would be perfect.

On a quiet lake in Maine where I could sit out at night on my porch, watching the fireflies and listening to the loons and whippoorwills. I'd have fruit trees and a huge garden.
And I'd keep bees and have a dog too. ;-)

Somewhere not cold, probably on a romantic island that stays nice and warm.....plus it needs a grocery store nearby :-) I'm not a wilderness chick or hiking fanatic.
