Put it this way to get ahead in this life you are either one who makes it or one that never quite makes it.

Difference is one who often makes it is well educated and sacrificed early years to achieve good education, then goes into well paid job..

One who never quite makes it in alot of cases resists learning due to poor attitude towards learning &study, then later on when it's often too late ,bleats that the system let them down.

You normally get one chance at getting a good education ,grasp it with both hands, there is plenty of time later on to work and help parents.

They would WANT you to finish your schooling ,go make em proud, then get a good paying job it will be worth it..Hang in bud...dont become one that never quite made it Good Luck ♥

Well, you want to make money, right? You want to have nice stuff and lead a nice life, right? Well, no one just hands you those things.

You have to work for them. And since we live in a planet of limited resources, competition is inevitable.

How are you ever going to compete unless you have skills and knowledge?

Here is some free info: so far I have asked you three questions. Revealing knowlege through the asking of questions is called the "Socratic method." It's named after some philosopher cat named Socrates. It's a very popular teaching method. See what I mean about the importance of learning things?

That's four questions.

If you don't finish school you'll be asking the questions. And they'll be along the lines of "Do you want fries with that?" And "Which way to the homeless shelter?" And "What if I can't afford an attorney?"

I left school and looked for work. I actually did find a job and in the end it made me feel even more depressed because I wanted my life to actually go somewhere. I didn't want to be stuck filing all day every day. So I had to go back to college, and now I am in my second year uni. It's never too late, but I think you should think about sticking to studying. You don't have to take Math, you are more free to choose the subjects you want once you've finished high school.

Yeah I guess that you're depress too about these things, you see we study to let us know what to do with our life, i.e. if we didn't go to school you would never ever have known of how to read, write, subtract, add and multiply and so on and so fourth. We study because it helps us to prepare to struggle with our life when we, well graduate and as you say find a job, haven't you noticed that to get a really good job you need to be a college graduate? So if you just quit now, how many job offerings I mean good ones will accept you? Why don't you think about it.

I can't agree with you more but if you want to be something in your life you have to study! Because the better schools you go the better job you'll get! And if you study you can take a job that will pay you a lot! Don't lie yourself and think that love or friends are the only thing that matters because tomorrow maybe you'll break up with your partner or have a fight with your friends and they won't be there for you any more! So pull yourself together and go to study!!!
Hope i helped!

You have plenty of time to work. Your parents will handle the money thing and you shouldn't be worrying about that part.
You go to school to prepare yourself for the real world. Most everything they teach you will come into play sometime in your life.
Enjoy it while you can -- you will be paying bills and changing diapers before you know it and will wish you were back in school.

Good Luck!

With a H.S. diploma and a BSEE I was able to get into a career that pays over 6 figures a year...
