You may have carpal tunnel syndrome. (The vessels are restricted usually due to working with your hands a lot.) A doctor can give you a test. I have it and have to wear two special braces at night to keep from awakening in great pain. Good luck.

You might have carpal tunnel syndrome or a pinched nerve. You might try wearing those wrist supports when you sleep at night. Ibuprofen might help relieve the swelling. Otherwise speak to the doctor

I've heard it could be either a pinched nerve or circulation being cut off. But if you find out for sure, tell me because I have the same problem.

I would say that you are suffering from RSI - repetitive strain injury - something you are doing at work perhaps? It is very painful. Placing your arms down by your side while in bed may ease the problem.

You're lying on it cutting off a blood supply or are pressing on a nerve.
