No, Gingrich needs to announce he will run so most of us conservatives can vote for him since he seems to be the only one with a set big enough to stand up to ultra liberals and the media.

Voters don't care about character. They care about mud slinging. Everything a candidate does and says during an election is aimed at faking out the voters. People believe the 10 second sound bite they see on the news. Whatever bit of drivel the candidates can squeeze in there (no matter if its plainly false) is gobbled up by the masses. I think whoever ends up running should air every last bit of dirty laundry they have right up front, thereby robbing the others of any mud to sling at them. Then, maybe, character can make a difference.

I'm a Democrat, but was a Republican for 20 years, until the party was stolen in 2000. I'm actually quite surprised that "character" still plays such a large part in the voter mindset, considering the numerous displays of hypocrisy on both sides of the aisle. If only voters would vote on issues, we probably wouldn't have our Idiot King, now, and we certainly wouldn't be sending in 8,200 more troops into our Idiot King's failed "war" in Iraq.
That aside, I'd like Giuliani to remain in the race, because I think he *does* have an issues-centered message. I dismiss Gingrich because he's a buffoon, and McCain sh** on America when he let KKKarl Rove's push polls roll over him in 2000 and decided he would rather serve Bush over the American people.

Voters care about character......what about Hilary, Obama and the others. Is there a perfect character running so far? They are all people and Americans are no better than those from other countries when it comes to lying, carousing, money, religion, etc. If you are looking for the perfect character you will not be able to ever vote again.

At least Gingrich admitted it. McCain, that man showed his strength of character 35 years ago. Guiliani's life is an open book.
I am not so sure I agree with your statement about issues vs. character. Clinton would never have made it on character.
Now, who do you suppose would be able to run on the Democrat ticket using that logic.

Actually I haven't seen a candidate on either side that is worth a teacup of cold drool. They all make me fear for the future of this once great nation.

Who would be left.
Hillary? Obama? Please don't tell me that you believe either of these two individuals have nothing negative in their pasts that we shouldn't be able to judge them not worthy of being our President based on your criteria.
How about you? Have you ever done anything that is questionable?
You know, I once heard a phrase... When you point a finger at someone else there are three more fingers pointing back at you.
Oops... sorry, I guess the dog below me has mastered walking on water. Maybe he/she/it should be our next candidate.

I'm sure their towels will be thrown in right after Mrs. Clinton (Whitewater, Rose Law Firm, Vince Foster, etc.), John Edwards (ambulance chaser), and Barack Obama (I'm running for President? Guess its time to pay those 17 parking tickets.) throw in theirs.

Throw inthe towel at a swinger's party.
All three are liars and cheats...just like Clinton and Bush.
Let's wait and see what else they have up their sleeves.
I have a feeling that Giuliani wears dresses and McCain may have some Asian secret....
