I read this some where the rankings of the richest fictional characters and from memory, I beleive it was Richie Rich and family.
Check out the following link for the Forbes top fifteen list of fictional characters rich list. Turns out they have Santa Clause as number one followed by Richie Rich.

It has to be Daddy Warbucks from the musical "Annie. He was a mogul of the World War 2 Military / Industrial complex.
