You need a software editing programme. Click on the link below and download it for free. Once you have it add your music track to it and take out the portion you want and save it to an mp3 file. The programme will tell you how to do this. Have Fun! http://audacity.sourceforge.net/

Do you use iTunes?if so, great ! heres what to do , open itunes and go to the song you require , highlight the song and play it , whilst this is playing choose file > get info , from that select options , when you get to your chorus put in its start time and end time click ok / save ( you can change this back later ) plug in your 'phone and select the song you edited to where you want it to go - that should do it .
Thats also a good way to edit 'live' songs with long rambling chats after or before the track you want to hear . have fun

put the music on in the background, when it gets to the chorus press Record on your phone and record it to wherever you want it to then on the phone menu it should say Put As Ringtone or something along those lines

It's all about audacity.
It is a program that allows you to mix and create your own ringtones.
Because the instructions are lengthy, here is the link:

Best of luck!

Added:
Audacity is great if your phone supports real music ring tones.
If it doesn't, please still read the article because it offers other programs/sites that will create midi or other kinds of ringtones.

properly cutting-edge macs have storage band on them. that would want to artwork for slicing a music right into a ringtone. homestead windows also has one, yet its a lot extra durable to apply. its stated as sound recorder and its a authentic soreness to do it on there. yet when you're keen to receive a application stated as audacity. its open source and loose to apply continually. its also an outstanding application for enhancing audio information.

you pretty much have to record it in the background like someone already said but to add to their wisdom and intelegence: some phones you have to send the song file to yourself (like through a picture message or a text message with an attachment) and then add the song to your ringtones from there. worked for my sister but you have to record it loud because it gets quite fast.

Nice and easy if your phone takes MP3's or WAV's and the like, donwload from the net an app called switch, one of those is a grabber where you can take snippets of songs, my text notification is currently a squabble from the life of brian - it works on films too - marvellous!
