How do I copyright an ebook?
Also would would the copyright mean? Could people still copy what i say in my book and write it as their own?

copyright is automatic for any work that is in fixed form. if you are working in electronic media, then you need to burn a CD or make a printout of the file to create the fixed version for copyright. people can cut and paste from html files, copyright or no. to enforce copyright you need to 1. pay a fee and register the fixed version with the Copyright office. (oh by the way, if you are in the habit of editing your work, you will need to do this for each and every revision). 2. you will have the task of tracking these people down in order to serve them legally, and 3. you will have to prove that your work was the source for their work if they don't admit to stealing. If they take your concept but re-write it then you are probably out of luck.
