I have recently come across an American singer, songwriter called Sufjan Stevens, a friend recommended him, and I found some of his work, and WOW, sends shivers down your spine type thing. So I was wondering who was the last group or artist, or indeed composer, that you discovered?

i really can't find the words to define their sound.
the mix so many genres of music.

I discovered their album "Satta" on one lazy beach day.
Laying on the beach...staring at the stars....hearing the waves crash...the smell of the fire...then i hear "Satta" album blowing in the wind from a nearby cafe...it was awesome...one of the few times, i actually had to discover the artist right then and there.

you're no longer a "poser"!! it rather is by no skill too previous via get into classic Rock music and not having any of their albums would not make you much less a fan. there is plenty greater large classic Rock music than merely The Beatles, Led Zeppelin and pink Floyd inclusive of: The Rolling Stones. The doors. Alice Cooper. Lynyrd Skynyrd. Eric Clapton. AC/DC. Bob Seger. Fleetwood Mac. Deep pink. The Who. undesirable enterprise. that's merely to call some, there is many greater.

Malice Mizer. Japanese band that split up in 2001. I think they're a visual kei band - not exactly sure what that is - and they had some of the most impressive costumes I've ever seen.

A friend suggested a J-Rock singer named Gackt, I thought he was ace, and when I was looking up lyrics I found that he used to be MM's lead singer. Downloaded a couple of their songs and fell in love. They're so strange, but amazing as well.
