lol, well, he's been dead for a while, so I guess now it's anybody's guess :)

I've never heard scholars say that he was gay, and his work (at least, the work of his that I've read) doesn't give any indication that he was. But who knows? It's interesting to think about.

I believe I read that it was considered acceptable for men to mess around with young boys in that place and time and not be considered gay...........
