In the UK you get certain rights at age 16 and 17, and the rest at 18. The mains ones at 18 are that you can buy alcohol, vote, get married without your parents' consent, get a tattoo, and you're able to enter into legal contracts (which under 18s can only do in some circumstances). There aren't any real differences in the rights for girls and boys.
