Friendship is the most important aspect of a good relationship.

If you are really friends and not just close acquaintences then you have a huge head start.

Best advice is to take even slower than you think would be ridiculous in any other situation. If you both feel that way then it will happen on it's own and you will have a lot of great memories to look back on in just a few months instead of a lot of guilt and remorse that can happen if you move too fast.

The big question is, how does he feel about you?

If you're a religous person, it might be best to date your best friend. If you've already known the guy for along time and haven't done anything sexual yet, then chances are you'll stay sexually pure through out the relationship. Since you've know him for so long, you know what you're getting yourself into. You wouldn't want to just start dating a dude you didn't know and have him turn out to be a loser. I've jumped a head way too many times in my life. Better to know the guy first.

it depends, did he ask u out? or are u planning on asking him out? if he asked u out than go out with him, but if its u that wants to ask him out, wait for HIM to ask U first.
