(f6) = 12
(f7) = 14
(f8) = 16
(f9) = 20
(f10) =
(f11) = 22
(f12) = 24
(f5) = ?
Solution:
assuming you removed (f10) for purpose then... then from the looks of it, you have a pattern of,
2, 2, 4, 1, 1, 2, 2, 4, 1, 1,....
or
(f5) = 10 + 1
(f6) = 11 + 1
(f7) = 12 + 2
(f8) = 14 + 2
(f9) = 16 + 4
(f10) = 20 + 1
(f11) = 21 + 1
(f12) = 22 + 2
...and so on
therefore:
f(5) = 11

Are you sure you have this right? Your number pattern isn't consistent. NINE is 20? All the rest are being doubled with the exception of NINE. If you have written the question wrongly and if it should be NINE is 18, then 5 would be TWO AND A HALF if you are continuing with the word followed by number pattern, or 10 if you are following the slightly squiffy doubling pattern.
