What are the different parts of old brass taps called?

I know the key, spindle, washers etc. I want to know the name of the part where the key fits on to. Is it a tappered choke?What are the handles called? There are t-bars. What are the others called, blades, wings etc? Can you help me?

1-Hexagonal shape to fit the (key) wrench or spanner
2-Tee handle , cross or star Handle
3-Other types of taps : globe or ball type with straight lever
4- Other parts of the tap : gland packing and its nut which prevent leakage around spindle , the renewable rubber seat is the acting part in the tap
