what is the best practice to make a hand signature?

the problem is i never signed a legal document before, and i have to make a signature soon.

Go with the natural flow of your handwriting, practice before hand. then make a signature mark on.. like if your name ends with and L have it go under the whole last name or if your name has a F in the middle do an nontraditional F. This way its unique and hard to Forge. Good luck
