I have a friend who makes allowences for another friend to be slightly offensive but is very moody towards me if I say the slightest thing I'll give you an example. I put my foot in it at xmas saying my boyf would be very dissapointed with socks and hankies!! This other girl said, ive got mine socks and hankies and i said, its ok, he's more of a socks and hankies kind of guy and i got picked up for being offensive by both girls!!!! yet when the other one says i don't see the attraction in your bloke, neither of them found that bad?? sorry. Very confusing. Just feeling like i need a few new friends at moment

I agree with the others.....I am in a similar position. I can be out in mixed company, and someone says something, and it is accepted and people laugh......If I say something similar, it is frowned upon...........I am looking for new friends, as I cant be bothered with these people...............

jealous,plain and simple jealous of you. Some friends stay that way for a very long time, others just forget. People will continue to say and do as they please, some not realizing, others knowing, unless you stop allowing it. Question their motives or their purpose in the remarks they make.
Or sometimes, just say, I don't feel like getting beat up or judged today, I have had enough , so I'll see you guys later.
People will continue to challenge you on what they see bothers you. Laugh at what they say.

you do not need friends like that. go out and find new ones that will not make you feel bad and down. friends are meant to know when a friend is down and try to pick them up. Not put them down again. there is a difference between a fried and a mate friends are for life mates come and go. in the meantime i will be your mate until you find new ones. Good luck.

not a good friend at all and i agree you need to get new friends, girls are bitchy as hell and they are probably just jealous cos there lives must be pretty boring if all they can do is pick on you move on girl true friends you can count on one hand mates come and go good luck you deserve better

First of all, if they are truly your friends they should be understanding and forgiving.
Secondly, be careful of what you say. It is the perception of the receiver that makes things either friendly or hostile.
Lastly, if they refuse to forgive you and be your friend, it is time to find REAL FRIENDS !!!

these guys are not accepting you for what you are and if they are unhappy with some of the things you might be saying they should tell you properly and not snap at you.
I say go and look for some new friends who are more understanding

They pick on you to make them feel better about themselves and when they both start to say things to you they feel even better having another mate to back them up, don't be their reason to feel better about themselves be your own reason to feel better about YOU and ditch them as they sound like really nasty little women

They are bullies............get rid of 'em.
People like that will only screw your head up, make new genuine friends you deserve it.
