Parents have a great influence into one's limits, but also society and friends have a say in it.
For one to not have limits makes them a sociopath, accepting no limits towards how they act towards people. These people are unpredictable to when they will explode or act in ways that warrant supervision (most likely from a prison.)
Hopefully you have limits in your life, they are not a bad thing at all.

I have some limits that I have set for myself,
such as how much I should drink, or the amount of money I can spend. I also have limits set by others such as how fast I should drive, or what clothes I can wear. I don't always obey my limits
