We know what should happen in a situation, and we advice friends and family of what they should do, but when we are put in the same situation, we may know what the right answer is, and its the same advice we've given to others, but we dont follow it because its alot harder to do the deed ourselves then to just advuce others to do it.

Right. It is never totally possible to follow your own advice when you yourself face the same situation. But while advising on others issues you generally introspect as I am doing now. This is surely giving me some conviction to follow good things only and practise it each and every time so that one day you will reach much closure to it.

The answers I give are what in my opinion is the best, safest, most sensible thing I could suggest for the problem in question. All these things are usually also the most difficult, boring and mundane, so yes sometimes I know what is the best thing to do for my own problems but still choose the easier or more selfish route to solve it. Other times I bite the bullet and do the best thing.
