Not as dangerous as it used to be... a babys lungs develop at week 36.. which is about 8 months... after the lungs are develped the babies chance of being born fine, just a little small are pretty good.. if the lungs are not developed the child may require intensive care, heating table, incubator... but today, that is something that happens and the children recouperate and become very healthy.

The longer the fetus can stay in the womb, the better. However, giving birth at 8 months is fairly common and usually there are no problems.

Yes it is. The lungs aren't yet fully developed and the baby hasn't finished fattening up yet. Any baby born before 38 weeks is risky. It has any excellent chance of survival but may have to be cared for in hospital for a couple of weeks.
Oh and why do you keep repeating your questions?

depends on the lungs. if the lungs are developed then it wont be a problem. ive heard of so many babies being born at 8 months and they were fine they have had to stay in the NICU but they turned out fine

if your not more than 37 weeks the baby will not live without the mothe reciving a shot. the lungs are not developed untill then and the shot could save the life. pregnancy is usually 40 weeks
