how can i sleep knowing you are bored?

Well, been working the swing-shift for about 20-years. Couldn't sleep back then because the girlfriend worked until 1:30 am. Started to not hear the alarm. Then I couldn't hear the telephone (manager was a friend). Next thing you know, I'm working evenings.
Nowadays, girlfriend's gone and the nightmares linger on. I must tire myself out and then read some fiction before I don't hear the accusations and regrets.
It's presently 2:15 AM, here. What's your excuse?

Searching for new music, I seriously have waaaaaay too much natural energy for a normal human being [haven't slept in 48 hours approx. & not tired...], I found out I'm addicted to answering questions...I think this really be could clinical :)...and anyway who can sleep when extended versions of Prince's "I Wanna Be Your Lover" is playing through your speakers. Church ;)

I didn't realize what time it was and that the time already sprang head ! I'm going to go to bed right now after I shut everything down.

and besides I have no life....that's why I'm still awake and have been all night and many nights before this one

I just couldnt sleep! tossed, turned and had to admit I'm just lousy at sleeping at 12.06 in the afternoon!
