Remember your other marks, they prove that you can do well if you work on it. There's no point in worrying now, just concentrate on your math. Later you can try working harder on your hindi, think about this later. And do your best now, don't let your marks get you down. This year IS important, though its not worth losing your confidence. Just don't let your hindi slide, all your marks are important in the 10th, after that you can drop hindi, or at any rate the marks won't be very important.

I was like you when I was in class 9. I was great at science and maths, average in sst and english, and very poor in hindi. But I used to be a rank holder in my class nonetheless because afterall, you know that we all are ranked based on our total marks of all the subjects.
I would really recommend that you do not get discouraged just because you are poor in one or even two subjects. You are just in class 9th, these marks do not really matter in the long run - not for your class 10 board exam, not for your college admission, not for your career. Even if you aim to be a rank holder in your class, one subject will not pull you down as long as you work hard on your maths paper and score above 90 in that.
It is the fundamental of any set of exams. Do not get discouraged even if you perform bad in one paper - because what will you achieve by letting your confidence drop? Just get going on your maths preparation, and you can still make up for the loss in your hindi marks. Just forget about hindi now and concentrate on maths.. Best of luck!!

Don't worry, all my language subjects are a terror for me too, especially Hindi and Bengali. But I try my best and get at least 60-70 percent in them. I always work hard in the science subjects, because they're my favuorite. Not only that I try to get above 90 percent in the science subjects so that I can boost my grand total. Believe me it works! Don't worry and go ahead and give your math exam, this happened to me a few days ago after my Bengali paper went really bad. Thinking negatively will only prevent you from giving your best in your math exam. It's no use crying over spilt milk, is it? Just forget about what happened in the past and concentrate on your future.

I am also a weakling in languages but good at sciences,if not at maths. I have opted for Hindi as my second language, just like u did, instead of taking Telugu(which is my mother-tongue). That is the greatest mistake i have done in my life until now not because it didn't give me good grades but because MY CONFIDENCE IN SPEAKING LOWERED NOT THE CONFIDENCE IN MATHS/SCIENCE. IF YOU ARE NOT GOOD AT IT,YOU ARE NOT GOOD AT IT, ACCEPT THE FACT. Think positive i.e. try to improve your other subjects. No matter how much you try you cannot become a 'genius' in languages but you can get above average grades if you try hard. Just do your maximum beyond which you cannot. Since you cannot go beyond in hard work you cannot go beyond and become a genius in it. What in your hands is,is to work and realise that you cannot do further. So by doing this you will remain satisfied.
Now, i am in a good college and i am FREE. If I survived the scare why can't you?

As your maths paper is still there do not brood too much over your Hindi paper or you will spoil that too. It is also possible that others too might have done badly in Hindi for the examiners to take a lenient view while correcting.
However, since next year will be your Board-exam, pay extra attention to Hindi if that is going to be one of your subjects.
It is always better to learn from your past mistakes.

Just forget about Hindi for the time being. You know that you can perform well in Maths, so do the paper well. After the exams get over, sit and decide what is your problem in Hindi, and try to improve accordingly. Go to a professional counsellor(you'll need to go before 10th anyway), and take his/her help.
Just relax!!!!!!!!
N best of luck..

Don't worry yourself too much about it. Concentrate on what you are good at and do well in that. When you study further it is the optional subjects that matter. Get someone to help you a little bit more on the languages so that you can do better in the board exams. Good Luck.

Not only your Hindi is poor, it appears that your English is atrocious as much. So do not blame Hindi for poor exam results. Pay attention to language as much as you claim to be good in other non-language subjects. Without good hold on language you can not be a good mathematician or scientist.

i laso get discouraged when i get low marks . but we shld try harder next time. there is no use in sitting &crying .instead talk with ur teacher and find out what is ur problem .u can develop it by spending more time on hindi daily.in english just do grammar . then i sware ur marks will shoot up . 4 maths u have to practice daily. ask and clear ur doubts then there with ur teacher . concenterate on ur weak subjectas this time .try to find out and correct ur mistakes .check ur papers at the end of each exam . have a neat handwriting and highlight ur important points. that's it . now ur a student of 90 above in all ur subjects.

Honestly speaking its a matter of concern for you, i know what your problem is i had similar problem with marathi and during my 10th board exam my percentage dropped only because of marathi. You have a lot of time i would suggest you to put more time into to this language then other subjects. Try understanding the alphabets instead of mugging it up.
