i'm 22 weeks pregnant....i was sleeping fine, and i woke up and felt really nausous. i drank some water, and layed back down, and suddenly i would get these awful abdominal & lower back cramps, followed by a weird clenching and fluttering (a little like when the baby moves...but more like she is kicking on my vagina), and then it would stop. about 2-5 minutes later, it would start back up. what the heck is this?

...and i know that the best thing to do is go to the ER, but it's currently 6am, and i'm home alone and a good 30 minutes from an ER, so i want to make sure before i go out driving myself somewhere.

I called my OB for advise on the same thing and she told me to come in the next morning. So call your OB and see what she says. If it gets worse you may have to go to the ER.

feels like Braxton Hicks contractions. in the event that they seem familiar, you may relax and drink some water. The extra hydrated you are the fewer you've gotten them. in case you have been in early labor, the contractions does not quit, they might in basic terms shop getting better. as a great way because of the fact the release, as long as there is not any scent or something, that is common. Your physique will advance vaginal discharge in training for transport, it's going to ensue in the direction of something of your being pregnant. The diarrhea grew to become into in all probability something you ate.

they could be braxton hicks contractions which are normal during pregnancy. If they are really strong though and are coming around the same time each time it could be the start of labor. Is it possible to call the maternity ward and talk to a professional? 22 weeks is tooooo early to deliver the baby so it's best to find out for sure. Good luck
