I saw this on a bumpersticker, but found it quite puzzling.

Are they talking about Doug McCarron, president of the international Carpenter's Union? Last time I checked, he was an Irishman.

I also see this bumpersticker! quite often... and wonder what it means too?? I've never known a Jewish carpenter.. always either a lawyer or a CPA

Jesus Christ was a Jewish Carpenter, among other things. I don't think he represented any particular labor unions, per-se, though.
