they are not the comparable ingredient actual. Witchcraft is rooted (tradiitionally) in nature and psychology. as an occasion, to calm myself after a demanding day i might meditate on a blue candle and chant that i'm comfortable and happy. Witchcraft is once you utilize the powers of nature (herbs, hues, etc. and how they result us) and the powers of the concepts (neurolinguistic programming, self hypnosis, self-fulfilled prophecies, etc) to help your self artwork in direction of your objectives. that's an energetic mindset. Prayer is communion along with your perceived greater potential. greater commonly prayer may well be for compliment and worship and thank you. you would be able to talk to experience greater effective, spill your guts; to experience closer to it and draw potential and convenience. or you would be able to o.k. ask for some thing. yet that's a passive mindset. Witchcraft would not could desire to contain faith; yet prayer does. additionally... Wicca is a faith; it is not approximately casting spells. Wiccans pray. some practice Witchcraft, too. And it would not in nice condition the definition for a cult, first and maximum suitable because of the fact it would not revolve around a frontrunner; communities and persons practice autonomously.

Yes, I do. I'm Pagan, btw, not Wiccan. "The Craft" as it's often called has been around for millenia (you think it's new? think again).

However, if you have ever seen the movie THE CRAFT, then you've gotten a Hollywood version of the craft itself. Many of the things stated are true, but a lot of them are far-fetched.

When you cast a spell, you WILL the effect into existance. In essence, you believe in it so strongly that it manifests itself. It really does work. You should have someone show you, or do it yourself once.

BEWARE THE RULE OF THREE. Everything you do (especially in the craft), reflects back on you three-fold (3x). That means good OR bad. Watch yourself. Don't do anything malevolent (like wish death or harm on someone) and you should be fine.

"An' harm ye none, do as thou wilt". Blessed be, honey.

I am Wiccan, so I believe. However, contrary to popular belief, it is nothing life what you see on television and those horrid movies like harry potter.
