Tim Duncan
he's selfless. doesn't care about stats. likes to move the ball. passes the ball to an open teammate for an uncontested jumper once he posts up. he's one of the great defenders in the league. he rebounds the ball too.
with his attitude, Tim is able to influence his teammates to play better. with his work ethic, he sends out the message that even bench players must work harder because Tim is working hard despite being the star player on the team. he listens to the coach (some superstars can't do that).
plus: Tim has a sense of humor.

L. James. If you are talking about building a franchise you have one of the best players in the league, he is young, and only getting better.
If you are talking about a one time deal, only for one season and not having to worry about longevity... probably KG or Nash.

Steve Nash. He gets the points, passes the ball around, and isn't the worst for rebounds either. Choice number two, I would have to go with Kobe Byrant, this year. He's doing everything.
