From this year, every driver has to use two different tyre specs (out of the possible four - hard, medium, soft, super soft) in the race. Which tyre would you use at which stage of the race? Qualify on soft, short first stint, then long second stint with the hard tyre, then finish off with soft?

The best strategy I would have is, to find what compound works the absolute best and run it for the qualifying and the race up till the last pit stop. Hopefully enough of a gap is built up to go with the next hardest compound to finish on. Plus using the next harder compound at the end would be beneficial because of all the rubber that would be put down on the track in the first two thirds of the race, meaning more grip than if you started the race with that compound.

I wish they'd just stop meddling and putting silly rules in, and let them bloody race.

Me, I'd go medium for qualifying and the short first stint (but maybe slightly longer than the other guys, who'd possibly be on softs), then a longer middle stint on the hard tyres, finishing off on medium.
