when you felt the need to search... for your wasted time? Did you find / recover any?

And yes, this is inspired by Marcel Proust, I thought about his novel a lot these days

When I was talking with a friend that asked where did the time go. I thought about that and I came to the conclusion that it was wasted by my youth that knew more than the voice of reason. Only to find out that the voice was wiser than my reason.

No, I have already wasted 3/4ths of my life...looking for something that would have come my way itself, ANYWAY.... and it has. I wish I could relive my ENTIRE life and enjoy things that I didn't enjoy because I was desperately searching for something... which I needn't have done. *sigh* but, I can't. All I can do is forget the past and make sure I don't repeat that mistake...and live life...live in the present. Make sure I absorb everything that is around me....see everything, smell it, feel it, hear it... instead of dreaming, and looking inwards....

yes.
I even put lost ads up but never managed to recover any of the lost time so again I wasted time... looking... ;)

"Lost, yesterday, somewhere between Sunrise and Sunset, two golden hours, each set with sixty diamond minutes. No reward is offered, for they are gone forever"
(I love this quote)

it's a waste of time to search for "wasted time"..therefore, the very "act" of searching for wasted time, must come full circle in to a perfect oxymoron

billy can't do that, the realization that he spent so much of his life looking for answers in bars would crush what is left of him.
