i would love a option 3 thanks none of the above....

Liberal will win again because people as much as they ***** and complain are comfortable with the current govt.

on top of that little johnny is now wisely not attempting to comment on rudd- rudd is doing enough of digging his own hole, the last thing johnny needs to do is jump in there with him.

I am hoping for a labor win this time around. but everytime an election comes around there seems to be a sweetner for the voting public from the liberals. The last coupleof federal elections howard has been lagging behind in the polls then cetain things have happened like the Tampa boat issue then with the last election in 2004, latham said some silly things. I think that the liberals bought alot of votes especially with the one off and introduction of extra money to families after their tax had been put in. The changes to the centrelink payments, taxation, changes to the family court and i could go on. We seem to be changing into a society where the rich are getting rich and the poor and middle class are getting poorer. I have got some issues with the religion factor creeping into the federal politics arena. That is a worry for me. I prefer government and religion to be a separate issue. I think any government who has the power in both the senate and house of reps get away with too much. I see this in QLD state politics. There is only one house in Qld politics and although I am a labor supporter, i believe that any party in Qld politics are not accountable to anyone. I feel this the same as the liberals in federal govt having control of both houses.

I'm a swinging voter from a Labor background....

I DO NOT LIKE HOWARD... I don't think he is a bad man just a man out of touch and a man who THINKS he's doing the right thing ... but sadly I don't think he's right.

I will be voting Labor this election .. I don't know if that is going to be any better in the long run BUT we just have to get George's Little Lap-dog ( or as one person in the media said Bonsai because he is a little bush) out of office.

I think it is better to be a swinging voter as I believe having any one party in power for any great length of time is a bad thing. One over spends and one over-cuts. Both have their noses in the troughs and both screw over the nation in there own way ,
BUT there are bigger issues at hand than even our own little corner of the world and Howard has enough trouble keeping up with what is going on here so he has no hope with the greater picture ...

i was NEVER a greenie .. but we can no longer be blind to our effect on the planet .. Howard's just jumped the bandwagon to get votes...
WE have to look at Climate Change and world conflicts, things that howard has a perculiar view on.

I am a Labour voter, this question can divide friends and work colleagues opions on each other.

Labour stands for people like me and many Australians, hard working citizens, that get a better working conditions, rather than the Liberals policy. If your well off and rich, than vote Liberal.

Anyway all Politicians are "LIARS".

I wont ever again vote for labour keating turned me from labour for ever
labour is like the bad parent who rewards you just so you will like them
but that is bad for a country
howard does upset me over nuclear power & because of that I wont trust him because he will just say well everyone knew how he was on nuclear power so if he gets in he will have it & thats a no no as far as im concerned but i still wont vote for labour but the liberal party does know how to run a country
just wish howard would get rid of that dangerous idea of nuclear power & then i would vote for him

Labour in both. Howard is only there to out do Menzies as the longest reining PM and nothing else. Get him out of the job, get him out of Kirrabilli, get him out of Bush's bush and the country will be the better for it.

I hope Labour wins. Why? I'm sick of Howard' s lies. Of him kissing American Butt. More lies. Of him selling Australia's assets. Did I mention the lies?

I know that 'all' politicians lie but Howard has it down to an art. He must be taking lessons from Bush

Thats if you are talking about Federal. If you are talking about State, same answer but slightly different reasons
