like the triangle area...what could these pains be? she says its a sharp pain and that sometimes she gets it down in the genital area down there...what could it be?

Possible conditions associated with these symptoms:
Urinary Tract Infection
Dysmenorrhea (menstrual cramps)
Chlamydia
Genital Herpes (female)
Shingles
Osteomyalitis

Because there are a number of possible causes for these pains (yep, including the possibility of gas getting trapped in that area) I would recommend that she get in touch with her dr to have this looked in to.

Be gentle with her while having sex. If its the case. Try the 2nd time and see if the pain comes again. Then go find a DR.
