I ran a bean-bag toss-across game, and later on had a beanbag game , using a plywood board with various sizes & shapes cut-outs that paid off with grabbag prizes based on degree of difficulty. Large shape had an easy rating, medium a medium prize, and small paying off with the best prize. Small kids also like mazes, we built one using hay bales, a member owned a feed store and loaned us the bales. Making it through the maze paid off with a small candy bar and prize. We also liked the idea of a duck pond, where kids pick a numbered duck (on the bottom) that paid off with a prize, but we didn't have enough time to assemble the materials. It required electricity available to run the pump, constucting a table that had a devider in the middle and lined with plastic so it wouldn't leak, and getting the plastic ducks delivered in time. Emphasize fun and easy wins, and you won't go wrong. keep it inexpensive-the prizes don't have to be big time-plastic rings, spinners, waterpistols, bracelets, pinwheels, balloons, pencils, erasers, etc. and a few pieces of candy make kids happy. Moms are happy to keeps kids amused. crowds of kids playing and watching others play create excitement. The important thing is the fun factor. Small kids also enjoyed dancing-chicken dance, mexican hat dance, hokey-pokey, bluebird, bunnyhop, conga, and snake were popular. We announced the dances at intervals and did 2 or 3 at a time-the kids come running fron everywhere. this gave the vendors a chance to restock and a bathroom break!
