Very good question. I spent some time is South Africa when i was 17 years old. I stayed with my dad in a village for a study abroad program. There was another young girl that was my same age that went as well. One night we both went for a walk outside of the village and sat on this huge boulder and just stared at the sky. It was a completely clear night. I've never in my entire life seen that many stars before. It was the most humbling and moving experience I had ever had at that time in my life. The young lady i was with felt the exact same way. We really didn't know each other up until that day but we connected that night in a way that could only be described as magical. I guess in the middle of it all we suddenly realizized how big the rest of the universe is and how small we really were in the grand scheme of things. We were so valnerable that we grabbed onto the only thing we could that made sense, and it was each other.

Yea...I used all the time in the summer. I didnt feel a connection with someone but with the universe. I used always think what does it all mean? Sometimes I thought about there is someone out there...right now...that I havnt met who is the one. She could even be in India or something....u never kno. I mostly thought about philosopical things....like could there really be one beginning of everything...how could there be? It would go in circles...like what was b4 that and b4 that. I have come to beleive that time is really an illusion somehow.
