Well, your a guy. Society and male members of it have taught you it is weak to cry. But I'm an adult, and I cry from physical pain when it's bad enough. It's normal.

A lot of adults know how to control their emotions..but just because they don't show their weakness doesn't mean that they don't cry in private..

Children liked to be soothed and the attention of knowing someone cares....Like when they want you to "kiss it make it feel better" and when an adult or whoever does that ..they feel better and it doesn't hurt anymore..

We have learned to deal with our emotions & feelings growing up. the youngsters are going through all new feelings, most is all new to them, and they don't know the best way to deal with things..it's just a learning curve I suppose...as we get older either we get to hide our emotions better, block it out or 'DEAL with situations better! : )
But I'm very very sure adults do cry because of physical pain!
some people have been or go through alot of upsetting things in there life.

As we grow we build a tolerance. When you're little, every cut, scrape and bump on the head is seen as the end of the world... Plus we get more attention when we hurt ourselves as children...

I don't know about you, but there have been time that I have been in so much pain I have started to cry.

May be as a child, its there way of making it know to others that they are hurt and need help?

adults generally know how to keep it in, unless its extreme pain.
im an adult, and i have been brought to tears with my pain in certain situations as an adult. it just depends on the type of pain and the severity of it. if you kick a male adult in the testicles, it's quite likely he will holler, and have tears in his eyes lol.

Becasue as a rule, crying is deemed to be childish, so we feel as though we must be seen to be strong and not cry.

however, my mate who is a paramdedic could probably say otherwise.
