avp... with Sigourney Weaver, Winona and Ron...interesting...but getting that cast to star in that film is almost impossible... quite an investment!

I'd love to see a remake of The Neverending Story. Don't get me wrong - I loved the original! But it's looking a bit outdated now. If the material is handled well, I think it could be another classic.

I would like to see Clint Eastwood direct a remake of "Hell to Eternity". This 1960 movie was based on the true story of Guy Gabaldon, a Marine Corp rifleman who convinced 800 Japanese troops to surrender at the Battle of Saipan in 1944. Gabladon was a Mexican streetkid from LA who was placed into a Japanese-American foster home by social services. Besides making a civilized person out of him, his foster-parents also taught him Japanese; in return, he saved hundreds, perhaps thousands of human lives during the Battle of Saipan.
I'm generally the biggest cynic in the world, especially about anything multicultural, but this is an amazing story which deserves to be told again....

I hate remakes. Hate remakes...Hate! I'm using the word hate here...about remakes. Remakes generally suck...why? Because most of todays movies suck. Few make it past the "I suck" mold. But remake? Can't really remember A single good one.
