With or without the salary cap, putting a bunch of all-stars together does not always guarentee a championship ring. There are many important factors that comes into play such as team chemistry and the desire to win it the most.
As of right now, the Dallas Mavericks are on a mission to redeem the championship ring that they gave away to the Miami Heat last season.
Not even the Suns, Spurs, Heat, and the Pistons can stop them this year. I believe their will to win this season can even beat the Eastern All-Star team if they were to play.
By the way, I am not a Dallas Mavericks fan. Just making sure you know I am not being bias.

billups, kobe, garnett, nowitzki, yao (memo) becouse this team have to run and have to make good defence now everybody will put best offensive players here but this team have to make good defence and if you put nash you must have good three pointers like memo kobe and nowitzki
