in my opinion manowar are the greatest band to ever play, IN MY OPINION!
brothers and sisters of steel unite!, hail and kill.... **** the world!!!!
manowar are one of the most consistently great bands out there!....

Although i've been in true metal my entire life I think Manowar are overrated. Come one, just because they were one of the first it doesn't mean they are the best. There's a lot of other bands who play just as good music or better.
What I really hate about MW is their cult following with rabid die-hard fans... worshipping them only for their pose and stage image, not for their music, which isn't that good anyway.
They're an okay band and I don't have that much a problem with them as I do with the hordes of fanatic listeners who think they were handed the holy grail of metal when they bought their first MW cd.

regardless of the truth that i have been in genuine metallic my finished existence i imagine Manowar are puffed up. Come one, only because they were between the first it would not advise they are the perfect. there is truly some different bands who play only as reliable music or more suitable positive. What i actually hate about MW is their cult following with rabid die-confusing followers... worshipping them only for his or her pose and degree photo, no longer for his or her music, which isn't that reliable besides. they are an ok band and that i don't have that a lot a issue with them as I do with the hordes of fanatic listeners who imagine they were exceeded the holy grail of metallic even as they bought their first MW cd.

I don't generally say any one band is the *greatest ever* since they all eventually go down hill or have their off albums.
Manowar is certainly among the top metal bands though and it is surprising how many so called rock fans have never heard of them, or Motorhead even.
I'd take MoW over most of the poser hair bands and southern rock bands any day though.
I also really like the fact that MoW has real lyrics and meaning and is not just noise like so many thrash and death metal band wannabees.
Their flight of the bumblebee is truly amazing too, the guys fingers must have bled afterwards.

i dont like it but my husband is a huge fan, he plays their music all the time, he has no taste though, but we all have different taste, good on u and your manowar
