Good question. I wouldn't want to miss.... but tempting to go for the good old "headshot". I'm trying to think what James Bond would do.... but I'll have to go for the "boom - headshot" this time.

Shout "YAY! Double suicide!!!" and have a hard time choosing which way to go:

But, knowing my luck, a midge would bite the ape and it would have an allergic reaction and die, and I would be so pissed off with the midge that I would try to shoot it, fail, and then remember that I only had one bullet.

Shoot the ape clean in the head. Humans are animals after all, and it's an animals natural instinct to protect itself. This doesn't mean I agree with needlessly killing animals though.

Just a point in passing.......If you shoot an ape in the eye with a 45, ( this is almost too stupid to comment on), you will do more than "blind" it.

I know that it may not sound very animal friendly. But think about it. Its either you or the ape, life and death. Why would you just lie down, and let it kill you! I'd kill the ape but feel very guilty about it...OBVIOUSLY
