I am thinking of changing my broadband supplier,i am currently with Tiscalli and don't have any problems except that they can only supply 1meg due to my location.Sky can supply upto 8meg?and £5/month cheaper,are Sky a good broadband supplier or should i stick with what i have got thanks Andrew

Sky will still only be able to provide you with 1meg broadband. Again this will be due to your location. Until BT see's fit to upgrade the network 1 meg is all you'll get. Having said that a saving of £60 a year is also nothing to frown upon.

I found zen to be a good supplier.
A word of caution though. Where I used to live I also had a slow broadband speed and was tempted by other companies which told me they could offer faster but in the end couldn't because they were limited by the exchange.
Saying that, however, if you can ultimately find a cheaper provider which is reliable then why spend more for the same service?

Watchdog of the BBC is doing a survey regarding the customer service offer by the broadband companies, have a look in the web site to make sure that Sky is a good good and will not give you more troubles instead of speed

I'm with Sky & I pay just an extra fiver on top of my Sky channels & get Broadband & free evening & weekend calls to landlines. I've had no probs with Sky..yet.. : )

Yes i have sky broadband and it is very good. No problems. Very happy with the service they provide

sky use the bt line into your house - the speed of any internet connection is determined by the distance you live from the exchange - if you are only changing on th hope of faster broadband ...then ask sky what your spped will be .....i suspect it wont be any faster than what you already have ......

talk-talk is free if you have your phone with them inc line rent £19-99 per month 8 meg download if bt exchange allows i run 2 pcs and find it fast comes with free anti spy/virus and a fix connection problems
