i heard it from a friend, just wondering if she knew what she was talking about, or if i misunderstood her, if its real whats the address? where can i find the info?

Yes, it's true. You can get more information under Contact Us on the White House website. Click here http://www.whitehouse.gov/contact/# and look for Invitations and Greetings. You want Greetings. There are different options.

My sister was born in 1997, and she got a letter from President Clinton. It wasn't personalized or anything like that, but it was a letter. I don't know if they still do it, but if they do, I definately want one for my baby!

I have never done it, but I heard that President Clinton's staff used to do this. I think I heard it on my local news many years ago.

It sounds rather far fetched to me. Can you imagine how many letters they would have to send out from the White House every day? It certainly wouldn't be anything personalized.
