Okur has been one of the most clutch players in the NBA this season, hitting 28 game-tying or leading field goals in the fourth quarter or overtime, including four-game winning shots in the final 40 seconds of games. He has also proven durable, having appeared in 231 straight games (all 213 since joining the Jazz), the fifth-longest active streak in the NBA

Well, Horry and the rest of the clutch players (Reggie Miller, Okur, Arenas, etc) can hit the game tying or game winning shot but for me, I'd say the best (and deadliest) last second scorer with the game on the line in the NBA right now is Kobe Bryant.
Most coaches or GMs (this was surveyed in the NBA) would feel more comfortable with Kobe taking the last shot than anybody else. The guy just thrives for these big shots just like the game winner in Game 4 of the Playoffs last season against the Suns. Twice he delivered on last second shots. The first was a driving layup to send the game into overtime and the second was a very difficult jumpshot with Diaw and Bell guarding him. Now that's clutch shooting...

Whether you like love him or hate him. The best last second scorer is Kobe Byrant hands down. I am saying this from a speculator's point of view. Although Horry, Memo, Jordan, and Dirk are honorable mentions. Nobody does it as well as Kobe Bryant in the 4th quarter when the game is on the line.
By the way, Kobe is not my favorite player. Just making sure you know I am not being bias.

This has to be like a trick question. According to GMs in the NBA, 90% would want Kobe taking the last shot of the game. I think that Big Shot Rob in his prime was the best ever. Guys, so many game winning 3s

I would go with Arenas,Okur,Kobe and maybe Lebron.Arenas and Okur made so many clutch and big time shots this season and it hasn't even finished yet!Kobe has proven he has ice in his veins because of all the games he has won for his team and Lebron?ask the wizards what happened to them last year.

i'm a lifelong spurs fan that is why i wanted to answer robert horry. he's burned us when he was with the lakers and he's burned a few teams now that he's with us. but with two seconds left and my team trailing by two, theres no other person i would want the ball to be than michael jordan. just ask craig ehlo and the utah jazz guy.

Don't know for sure but it sure feels like Horry, especially if you've been rooting against his teams in recent history. (like I have) I would think Jordan might be in the running too.
