Once you've missed two or more of your birth control pills, then it is a good idea to discontinue them until after you have a period. If you do that, however, then you need to use a foam and condoms whenever you have sexual intercourse since it's likely that, without the pill, your body will ovulate. Your symptoms could be signs of pregnancy, but it could also be due to the fact that, by discontinuing the pill mid-cycle, your hormones are kinda messed up. If your period doesn't come on time, then check a home pregnancy test so you can know for sure and do what's best to take care of yourself. If you do get your period, then you can resume the pills but will have to use a backup method of contraception as well just like when you first started the. Hope all is well.

When you stop taking the pill you mess up your cycle, so that could be the problem. All you can do is wait and see and make decisions as if you were pregnant (don't take the pill, drink, smoke" Take a test when you can get reliable results and see a doctor if you are. Talk to your doctor about when/how to start the pill again since you have been off it for a while. You might need to start with a new pack.

Yes some of those are symptoms, period coming on or stress can cause the same symptoms.

Go and pick up a box of tests. A lot of them come with more than one test in the box. Until you know live your life as if you are pregnant. If the tests come up positive get to a OB/GYN as soon as you can so you can start prenatal care. And be sure to tell them that you took the pills for a bit after.

See the link below, lots of great information.

My search was "pregnant while on birth control pills.

Good luck

Wow all of your symptoms do sound like a pregnancy. But the only way to be positive of a pregnancy is to take a test. You can now get pregnancy tests over the counter that can pick up pregnancy 7 days before your missed period. I would reccommend taking one. Good Luck!
