pop bottle crafts?

seems such a shame to keep polluting by throwing pop bottles away. any ideas on crafts that can be made from them? large or small works for me. thanks

to cowgirl---not every area of the U.S. has recycling of plastics.....we don't

I've made birdfeeders, planters, banks, and wind spinners out of them.

cut off the tops and paper mache outside. paint once dry. there you have a desk tidy!!
