Because I kissed this one boy last night and my mom told me not to kiss a boy before I'm 21 or else I'll become pregnant. Is this true?

Oh, my gosh, sweetie! Your mother was soooooooooo wrong for telling you that! She is obviously just trying to protect you by scaring you into not becoming sexually active. You absolutely can NOT get pregnant from kissing. Pregnancy occurs only when a female is ovulating and a male's sperm reaches her egg and it successfully implants itself in the uterus. There is no transfer of sperm into a female's body from a mouth to a mouth (kissing). There is nothing wrong with exploring your sexuality and enjoying intimacy with someone. Kissing is a sweet, "innocent" way of expressing affection. Your mother is trying to keep you from becoming sexually active AT ALL, which is wrong. She should be educating you properly and maturely instead of feeding you with misinformation that will only frighten you. If you need more help, talk to your school nurse or counselor about your question (in case you don't believe my answer), ask a teacher you trust, or ask a clergy person at your church (if you attend one). All of these people are well-educated adults who are there to help you. Take a deep breath, relax, and enjoy the kissing! (Just don't tell your mother about it! LOL) BTW, I'm 33 years old and I've kissed a LOT of people, even while ovulating, and I have no children. :)

Ok, like the answers above, in a way, yes, you can get pregnant by kissing.
But whatever you do, DON'T have intercourse until you are married, I know its hard but its the best way. Even if he wears a condom, some diseases can get through. Eg. some people go through the intercourse thing, only once, and wearing condoms, but catch HIV-AIDs anyway (condoms have teeny holes that sperm can't get through, but the HIV virus can). So kissing is alright I guess, but don't go head-over-tail. And the best way to prevent ANYTHING from happening to you is not to have intercourse until married. Because people sometimes don't actually know when they have the virus. It takes a few months or so for the symptoms to occur. Human1 has intercourse with Human2. Human1 already had intercourse with someone who had the virus but didn't know it, thus passing the deadly virus on to Human2. Human2 has intercourse with Human3. Human3 with human4, etc, etc. and they ALL catch HIV-AIDs. An AIDs train. And so either way, its just isn't safe.

Hilarious! No, you can't get pregnant from a kiss...but listen to your mom anyways...it's best to concentrate on your education before getting involved in kissing boys...kissing is where all "sexual experimentation" starts. Mom almost all the time knows best! :-)

She probably means that kissing leads to other things, which is having sex, which could mean pregnancy. Yes, you can get pregnant by a kiss. It would have to be some kiss. A long kiss.

how old are you? of course not. your mom doesn't want you to be fooled by any boys. first, kiss and who knew what might be next. it could lead to sex.

first you are not "dumb" like your id says. it is very normal for young people not to know these things !!! kissing will not get you pregnant but please listen to your mom because you CAN get disease from it if the boy has any.
