I have had this house for just over a year, and it is already 15yrs old. The past owner didn't clean very well, and so there are heaps of soap sud mark and grime/FILTH on the corners and the floor. Please tell me a way to remove them in a way that I don't have to pay for people to come and scrub them off or something. HELP ME!!

A solution of White or Cider Vinegar will remove soap suds from glass everytime. Use one cup of Vinegar to a half bucket of hot water. Good Luck !

Try a vinegar and salt mixture. It is what I use. It is cheap and doesn't hurt the environment.
In warm water, disolve 1/4 cup of vinegar and a 1/4 cup of salt in a gallon of water. Put on the glass and let it set for a few minutes and then wipe away. If it is really bad, you may have to do this a couple of times.

If you haven't found anything as of yet to work for you, try "The Works" You can find it in any Wal-mart in the cleaning isle, it will take all that stuff off in most instances without having to scrub, make sure you have a window or door open as it does have some wicked fumes especially if you have to use a large amount.

If you have access to a steamer use it, or try vinegar in a spray bottle, keep it wet, spray every 5 or 10 minutes then use a green scrub pad. Whatever you use to get it off, put rain x, the stuff u use on car windows, to keep it off, works great. For shower walls, when they are cleaned, use car wax on them, mothers car polish works good. Good luck!

The best product I have found for this problem is Tilex Soap Scum remover. It just melts the scum off the glass. Give it a try.
