when the insults come, and he is finding fault with everything u do and everything about u, and doesn't want to buy u things anymore, u can almost bet he is cheating, and wanting to leave u. he just seems to no longer care, and its hard to swallow after years of feeling loved, and appreciated, but the chances are really good that theres someone in your marriage, that shouldn't be.

Just get him back with a really good one. It has to be really good though, so that it makes him laugh. Tell him he's a carrot shoving *** pirate and that he needs to stop insulting you or you'll film his put evidence of his carrot shoving online. Yep, he might really be insulting you, but may as well come back with something nonsensicle and mildly amusing until later when you can tell him that he's a jerk and he better stop treating you like that or you'll leave him. Don't take crap.
Why can't you go out and buy what you want yourself? Don't you have a job? No, being a stay at home mom/house wife isn't a job. It's a chore. Everyone has chores.

Well girl,
I know what you are going through and after countless of times blaming myself n the nature of his work,I can't take it anymore!
So I have found myself somwone (we are not sleeping as yet) and now hubby is paying attention to me.
Well its too late,hes had his chance and lost it!I need to be happy,yea I do luv hubby but not enough to take insults anymore.
Girl just be happy we have one life to live.

Well... you could try and prove that no matter what you love him and you are doing your best... and try and be patient to him... I mean, I know this sounds kinda lame, but...
He might be really depressed and having difficulties at work or something, have you noticed anything unusual about him lately? (apart from the insults and stuff)
Or (sorry to say this) he might be tired of you and, you know... but please don't assume this, because I don't really know about your relationship with your husband so I can't say anything much..
I hope I haven't just wasted space... hope it helps a teeny weeny bit..

Because his cheap and selfish. Next time he says that tell you plan to. Then when he makes a comment about buying something tell him what he tells you.

He is starting to outward control and manipulate you...keep your guard up... because this is a warning for what your future will hold...he is not on your side and its not a partnership... he is not a happy person...he would be miserable with or without you ... tells you to go buy it yourself? does he care about your needs and wants...doesnt sound like it...his mantra me me me and dont forget about me...people like this also think its ok to hurt and to be mean to the ones they love....WHY??? because they wear their emotions on their sleeve and do not have any self control...they should be embracing their loved ones not hurting them

He is a jerk and he is taking you for granted. He may also have someone else on the side or wants them and is being nasty to you for it.
