My gf forgot to take her pill thurs (4pm) so then took it friday morning and continued her normal course. However we had sex today and the condom split, breaking the 'seven day rule' saying that it may lead to less protection if the pill is over 12 hours late. I was wondering what the chances would be of her being pregnant? Cause we need to sort this out! And what to do?

50/50 chance. wait and hope. or just get the morning after pill. she has 72 hrs to take it, the sooner the better.

The chances are high for example if you had sex on the Thur and Fri, but seen as she took the pill Friday, I think that you'll be fine.
I used to skip pills all the time and then have sex the day after, and I was always fine. She'll be covered.
If you are still worried though, (if you live in the uk, dont know about anywhere else) You can buy the 'morning after pill' see your chemist for details.
But like I said she should be fine.

As long as she didn't miss two pills in a row, she is okay. It has the same failure rate as if she had taken it on time. If she goes in to get the morning after pill, they probably will not give it to her for this reason. The morning after pill has some unpleasant side effects and the doc would probably advise against it because it is not necessary.
This being said, she should be fine as long as it wasn't more than one day in a row.

You have a slight chance of getting pregnant but only if you have a high chance of fertility (usually heredity) or haven't been on the pill for at least a few months. I highly doubt you are pregnant since you only lapsed less than a day.

highly unlikely she will be if its a one off but not impossible the only way 2 be hundred percent sure is if she has her break early and sees if her period comes otherwise wait till till she has her break and same thing depends how much its getting to use,if she wants a better way of contraception she should try the implant its the size of a hair grip doesnt hurt more protective than the pill still get periods and you only have to get it changed every three years.good luck.xx

I used to live in New Zealand, and when I went to the family planning clinic there, I was told - and this was the official advice - that forgetting one pill is not enough to cause pregnancy, and it's only if you forget to take 2 in the same week that you are not protected.
So I don't believe you are unprotected.

If you have sex you have a chance of getting pregnant whether you use protection or not because protection isn't one hundred percent. If you don't want you girlfriend to have any chance of getting pregnant then stop having sex until you are willing to be a father and she is willing to be a mother.

at first, as that is been much less then 7 days because of the fact the 'ignored pill' she shouldn't take her destroy, yet start up the subsequent %. genuine away (examine training in container). Secondly it particularly is impossible to state the possibility of being pregnant...a female can get pregnant at any evaluate her cycle! the superb difficulty to do is nip to A&E or your GP to get the morning after pill (it particularly is often taken as much as 3 days after unprotected intercourse, yet is extra effectual if taken formerly).

It's unlikely but not impossible. You should find a chemist open, I suggest you ask for advice and whether the morning after pill is a suitable precaution or not.
