Dear Hazel,

The best for you to do is to go to your nearest civil registry office and tell them your problem. The best to help you are the people from the civil registry office. You may also opt to consult a family lawyer and let him make an affidavit. There, you will state that you were born in the date you were really born, let your mother be the witness since she was the one who gave birth, and a neighbor too who seen your mother pregnant, and seen you grew up even if he/she was not present during your birth. Let them sign in your affidavit or if any of them is illiterate and cannot sign, let them affix their thumb mark.

I hope I helped you.

Hazel, the best bet is to contact the Department of Naturalizaton or the Department of Health in the state you were born and ask for help. If you have problems where no one wants to help you, you have the right to contact your Congressman and ask for help.

If you have hospital records dating back to the first year of birth this may be helpful to create a proof of live birth.

Also, if you were baptised as a baby. This can be used as a legal document.

you've a confusing time getting one. 2 many years in the past, even living house births were assume to be registered with the state. you ought to employ an legal professional to artwork in this. i could ask the way you went to school, because they require a beginning certificate. yet likely qualified statements from those that knew of the beginning and then also your college information.
