I am going on 31 weeks and I have placenta praevia [its blocking the way out], I would like to know if anyone (the 5%) who has had an ultrasound at about 32 weeks and had to be booked in for a C-section???

I did not have placenta previa, although I did have a c-section. I had one because my son was in fetal distress. His was due to the cord being around his neck.

my sister in law had it. the last 2 months of her pregnancy she was hospitalized, pretty much on bed rest. as soon as the doctors felt that the babies lungs had developed enough, they did a c-section, and i believe they waited until 38 or 39 weeks to do that. everything turned out just fine. good luck!!
