Kobe Bryant is the best player in the NBA and will go down as the best NBA player ever. Stop hating on the guy because he got 3 championships, give him props.

I think he's a arrogant fool, talent doesnt make up for personality!

Kobe may be a great individual player, but guess what, that don't win you championships, otherwise, Lebron would win every year here on out. I respect Kobe's talent, but he is a dime a dozen, Everyone today is a high flyer. The game has evolved and he is really nothing spectacular. He's a hog and a baby. And to hate because he was "accused" of rape is not a valid reason. I am a kobe hater and I don't believe he did that. there are many sick people in this world looking to make a quick buck. Common the girl had semen contributions from 3 different males?? hahaha sick!!! and he is far from the greatest ever, and even today. Nash, Arenas, wade, melo, lbj, shaq, dwight howard, are just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to players who are better then him. What it all comes down to is can you play with a team, and can you make your teamates better while playing at the top of your game, and im sorry, but kobe can't!!

first of all i dont like kobe, but there shouldnt be kobe haters
so the only reason they hate is because kobe bryant is simply the better or best in the league right now,

if he wasnt then why are you still complaining?

youre crying because kobe changed his personality and his numbers are still up there

he knows scoring wont do the trick so he involves his teamates, gives his teamates confidence and reasurres them

dont bullshyt me with how his teamates sucks or how lakers are barley .500

if wade was in the spot where kobe is
his stats would be 30 ppg 4.1 reb. 4.2 asst.

nd then come wade lovers
"oh em gee!!!" "wade should get 30 4.1 and 6.1 assts"

ok... he can get those numbers but whats the use if hes going to be injured 40% of the season?

hes like allen iverson, he'll learn one day giving up your body just for stats isnt worth it.

maybe once wade learns, he can win a regular season mvp.
i give 70% props to pat riley for the championship of 2006 and the 30% to rest of the teams who choked.

in the end dont blame kobe for being arrogant or a fool because he isnt,
you guys say it but dont have proof.

if you guys watch more of kobe,
i think no one should even hate him.

he gives a new definition to basketball

when did he want the credit for those three rings?
i didnt hear him complain when shaq won mvp 3 times

so stfu and stop hating
just because kobe can avg. close to 30 points 6 rebs and 6 assts for the lakers (end of season) have his life doesnt mean he's arrogant

phil jackson - "hes the first in the gym and last to leave the gym"
"he even has his own gym keys, for those early morning practices"

he worked his way up
dont hate
show some love

I'll jump on with Shahaly's reason #5: Last year's playoff game vs. Phoenix, Game 7. What a terrible time to go and try to make a point...What I'm wondering is how everyone doesn't even talk about that anymore? Yes, Kobe's had a great year, but he's a great player, of course he should have a great year! Playoff time is what counts....

So why go and pick "do or die" time in Game 7 last year to shrink up like a pair of cold balls? Kobe can score at will right? What was it....81 vs. Toronto? 81??!! DANG! I don't remember even Michael Jordan ever doing that!

So again.....why did Kobe stand there like a minimum salary swingman and pass the ball during Game 7 vs. Phoenix? Was it the pressure? Was it Raja Bell's D? Was it the frustration of Phoenix's unstoppable "gimmick" play, aka "the pick-and-roll"?

Please stop using Kobe and MJ in the same sentence....at least until Kobe can make up for last year's playoff game. We all know: Michael Jordan would NEVER have given up.

Lol best player in the NBA right now is Dirk Nowitzki or Wade maybe....Kobe is probably fourth. Greatest ever? Ever heard of Michael Jordan buddy? If Kobe doesn't win another title (and he probably won't), Kobe will go down as the Scottie Pippen to Shaq -- he wasn't THE MAN during those 3 championships.

1. Coming back to your question: They hate Kobe because Kobe hated Shaq. Like I said, Shaq was THE MAN, but Kobe wanted the credit. Take away Shaq and Kobe's team struggle's to be .500. Shaq wins a championship. Who loses? Kobe -- not a winner but a side-kick who wanted all the attention.

2. Extra-marital affair. NBA is a popularity contest more than anything else.

3. Tries to "stand-up" for his teammates, but everyone knows it's fake -- he wants the attention.

4. When he doesn't get the call he wants, he elbows 2 guys on two occasions...*cough*accident*cough*

5. Tries to "pass" the ball to show that he is a good teammate during game 7 with Phoenix...yes, great job. Pass the ball when you're losing so everyone can blame your teammates for not making the shots, but you can be portrayed as Kobe the benefactor.

6. Huge ego...as if he won the championships....put Wade in place of Kobe during the late 90s and the Lakers still win them.

7. Doesn't make his teammates better.

I don't hate Kobe. I just get sick of seeing every other post here being Kobe lovers trying to get the world to agree with there dilusions of grandier. Kobe is a great player, but far from the best. Basketball is a team game. If you are going to be fair you need to look at players who make their team as a whole better while making a name for themselves. If the NBA was a one on one league, I might have to consider your beloved Kobe, but for now please accept that most people look at more than one 81 point game to qualify their statements. Now that you are done reading this, go back to your "Kobasm" with your friends.
