Personally, the way these thugs walk, talk, clothes they wear, act, try to be, want to be, live, react, think they are actually smart, etc, makes me want to puke! Rap music is destroying this generation, you want to express yourself with some talent, pick up an instrument. Anyone can write lyrics, especially in that form. Every time I see a thug I think of jail, or how they should already be there. Grow up and make something of yourselves!

Are you really asking a question or just pontificating? While I agree that the culture that surrounds the rap music scene seems to glorify the negative stereotype of its participants, I do not think you can dismiss the genre. First off, you must be aware that every musical style was originally perceived as a negative. As examples I cite rock and roll, jazz and some of the different forms of classical music. Secondly, if you had the time to look real hard, you would find the gold in the dross that is rap music. The reason that you look upon rap so negatively is because you're exposed on a regular basis to the worst aspects of it. Being able to lay out a thought or scenario that will move or entertain in a few lines of lyric, is as critical to music as the ability to play an instrument or compose a tune. Unfortunately, you do not get to hear that type of rap (or even music in general) because the Industry does not favor really creative people, but those who are both, or either commercially viable or who can promote themselves well. So I would say it is not rap per se that is destroying young peoples minds, so much as it is the leaders of the music industry.

many human beings would evaluate this a count of opinion, yet with that being suggested, right this is my take: it won't fade away because of the fact it has progressed right into a lifestyle via hip hop. It has additionally replace into between the main primary music varieties interior the united statesA., so some form of it is going to constantly stay. I do think of that a solid majority of rap music isn't appropriate for "the greater youthful techniques". The issues that are rapped approximately are frequently unintelligent the clarification why "it particularly is why i'm warm", and that i do exactly not think of a solid majority of it may be useful to the budding techniques. i won't bypass so a techniques as asserting all hip hop is undesirable, one in all my favourite songs is "Make you experience That way" by using Blackalicious.

That's what they said about the waltz when it first came out, then rock, etc. The 'thugs' that are listening to hardcore rap will be nostalgic about it 50 years from now and complaining about whatever the younger generation is listening to and how it is undermining society.
